Immune Health

The gut hosts 80% of the body's immune cells

Kaneka Probiotics’ Immune Defense is a probiotic formula developed to strengthen the body’s immune defenses to provide protection during stress. Its formulation contains two clinical strains and there have been three published clinical trials (randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled design). Kaneka Probiotics’ Immune Defense is a combination of probiotics, vitamins and minerals contributing to the normal function of the immune system.

PROBIOTICS: 2 Lactobacillus plantarum (CECT 7315 & CECT 7316) + VITAMINS AND MINERALS (50% RDA): Folic acid, Pyridoxine, Cyanocobalamin, Ascorbic Acid, Zinc, Selenium, Retinol.

These clinical strains and nutrients enhance the immune response in the body, and their site of activity is in the intestines. The intestinal compartment is the most extensive and complex part of the immune system, and up to 80% of the immune cells of the body are located around the intestinal mucosa at any point of time. As a result, the intestinal mucosa is a key factor in the modulation of the overall immune system.
